Outview film festival with the support of the Canadian Embassy is proud to present the Award-winning genderqueer filmmaker, Maureen Bradley, as the speaker of this lecture.

Maureen has made more than forty short films that have screened at festivals around the globe and will be presenting their latest feature film TWO 4 ONE at Outview film festival. They will share their experience on the making of that film to discuss the budget considerations:

  • calculation of the film budget
  • breaking it down per department
  • how we get funding
  • crowdfunding process on Indiegogo

Maureen recently produced the short ‘TIL DEATH’ which screened at Telefilm’s Not Short on Talent at Cannes 2014. In 2011, they won a Leo award for Best Web Series for FRESHMAN’S WHARF, on which they were Executive Producer and Director. They have won best film awards for their short films QUEER ACROSS CANADA, GO! DYKE, GO! and FOREVER at festivals in Santa Barbara, Austin and Chicago.
