Κανένα όριο δεν είναι υπερβολικό για να το ξεπεράσει η άφοβη περφόρμερ, η οποία σκορπά φόβο, τρόμο, θαυμασμό και σωματικά υγρά σε έναν περίγυρο κατά τα άλλα πρακτικά συνηθισμένο στα πάντα. Ωμή, έντονη και χωρίς φίλτρα, η ταινία παρουσιάζει το τολμηρό σύμπαν στο οποίο μετατρέπεται η σκηνή όταν ανεβαίνει η Miss Rosewood, αποφασισμένη να μην αφήσει κανέναν να βαρεθεί.

Παράλληλα, πίσω από το βαρύ μέικ-απ κρύβεται ένα ευαίσθητο και φιλικό άτομο, το οποίο μας αποκαλύπτει η σκηνοθέτιδα Helle Jensen, ακολουθώντας την Miss Rosewood στα παρασκήνια, όπου έχει το όνομα Jon Cory, καθώς και μια οικογένεια που προσπαθεί να κατανοήσει την περσόνα με την οποία εκφράζει τις φαντασιώσεις και τα όνειρά της.

A self-proclaimed transgender terrorist on New York’s hardcore performance scene, a walking scandal on high heels. But there is a sensitive and likeable person behind the thick makeup, and Helle Jensen has reached through to her in a film, which is not afraid to take ‘a walk on the wild side’, but which also joins Rosewood backstage, where she has the name Jon Cory and a family that has learned to understand the persona with whom she acts out her dreams and fantasies.
